The present moment is continually unfolding, and your higher good is always flowing to you and through you – unless… we are constricting, limiting, or blocking it.
Our physical and energetic heart serves as a gateway, a conduit, an amplifier, a magnet, and a love radiator.
By making it a habit to connect the head to the heart, you begin to consciously regulate your Flow through this internal center of operations.
You can also affect your entire being, and life, in the most positive, powerful and loving ways imaginable.
The affects are far reaching, and will ripple out, and come back to you – multiplied – in truly fulfilling and wonderful ways.
In short, when you heart is closed, you’re shut off to your good. There’s no way for it to get in.
When it’s open – in synch, at the center of operations… the magic happens…
Your life can unfold in the truest, richest, and very best ways.
Basic Heart Centering Practice
Adapted from HeartMath™ and Mindfulness methods, this meditation helps us gently ease through the shift from active-mind or “doing” into a radiant, receptive “being” state, where our heart can open to the present moment, and we allow the higher unfolding.
By connecting our Awareness to our breath, and then bringing focus to our heart, with breath, we begin to connect the head and the heart. We use the breath to open the space inside of us that is our power, and we open to the limitless potential of our unbound heart.
Begin by setting an intention to let go of the day’s agenda, and to shift into an open, peaceful or “neutral” state. This sets a firm resolve for the mind to make the shift.
1. “Breathe, Release”: Bring your focus to our breath, clear your mind and body, and say this mantra to yourself on slower in and out breaths, releasing any mind noise and body tension.
Stay here for a minimum of 3 slow breath cycles, or as long as you need to arrive in the moment.
2. “Breathe, Ease”: Now bring your focus to your heart, and intone this mantra. Imagine gently and slowly breathing through your heart, softening into this tender space, easing out any tension, charge, or edges.
Stay here for a minimum of 3 slow breath cycles, or a few minutes is optimal, or until you are in a “Neutral Heart” space.
3. “Breathe, Peace”: Begin to awaken a quality of peace or calm within your heart with this mantra. Put your hand on your heart (or you can put your hands in yoga’s “prayer pose” in front of your heart) and center in your radiant Heart, still repeating the mantra.
Bring awareness to the inner-aliveness of your heart. You may sense warming, light, energy, in subtle, shifting, or dramatic waves. Simply notice with kind, curious attention, your heart’s inner-life. Begin to notice what is True, and what is just passing through.
4. Radiate From Your Core Heart: As you continue to breathe through your heart, focus on radiating pure positive, peaceful, energy from your Heart’s Radiant Center, through your body, your cells, and out through your heart’s magnetic field around you.
Sense your heart’s energy and light radiating out further, clearing, and opening an expansive field of love around you.
Visualize this radiant energy going out ahead of you, through your day, your life path, reaching the people and places you will encounter, opening joy, lighting the way.
5. Follow your heart’s bliss: Stay tuned as the insights and the unfolding breadcrumb trail are revealed… let love move you from bliss to bliss to bliss (the insight or action that lights up within, brings peace or helps you open up and let go), and you will be on the Path with Heart, taking the highest way through.
Know: Your Higher Path is unfolding for you, even if you can’t see very far down the road. Your higher good is a-flowing…
