Moving into whole-hearted living is about daring to engage with the world around you in heart-centered ways.

In an era of distraction, devices, and busy-modern-day living (turning even the most benevolent types into frazzled, irritable, tired, wired, overcharged, asshole-y… versions of themselves) –making a genuine connection can often feel like an everyday act of courage.

Yet, just one act of heart kindness, caring, or courage can break the “fear spell” plaguing so much of modern society’s separation vibe.

Begin by connecting with your own heart, stay open, and let your higher heart qualities guide you through your daily walk. This is how to activate your Heart Path, and stay tuned to the unfolding adventure.

The positive benefits create an ever-expansive ripple effect. Genuine heart-connecting creates less isolation, depression, separation – and more understanding, caring and sharing.

And here’s a big one – so much of how “serendipity” works, and how life delivers it’s goodness into our lives – is about who we know, bump into, are drawn to, or what organizations we belong to…

“What you know” is only a limited part of the equation.

Plus, connecting is a world brightener. It’s fun. And it’s even kinda sexy! [#HeartConnectingIsSexy]

We can each begin creating a more heart-connected world, by starting with our own Heart Path.

A few ways to keep heart-connections the priority:

  • First and often, align and connect with your heart using a practice like “Start with the Heart Meditation” on the Home Page.
  • Set a heart-infused intention each day: “I intend to be present and connected to Self and others, and let love lead the way.”
  • Value your connection with others. Make time to connect to the people you care about – and connect to the people on your daily path with a smile, a wave, an act of kindness or common courtesy.
  • Take restorative heart breaks from work, the to-do list, and devices. Take a cue from your energy and attention levels. Ditch the excess stress, and connect with your heart and body, and recharge your spirit.
  • Pick up the phone or talk in person instead of defaulting to text and email.
  • Connect with the natural world. Step outside – even for a moment or two – breathe in the fresh air and look around. Appreciate nature, the smell of rain, watch clouds or appreciate the architecture.

Start now… Do some heart-connecting right here, with this Big-Hearted Tribe. Let us know how a heart connection brightened your life lately.
